My friends & I have traveled together for over 25 years & eaten at 5 Star restaurants all over the globe … We were past impressed.! From the shot of Maytag Blu tomato soup to the apple salad to the grouper with peach/mango salsa to the citrus grits to the to die for desserts… We were still talking about that meal at breakfast. Can’t wait to return
BEST OF THE BEST EVERY TIME. First, if I review some restaurant as awesome then it has passed several things I look for closely. We do eat at the bar most of the time, but don’t miss the dinning room for the whole experience.If you want cheap, this is Not the place. But if you are looking for a very nice place; this is it. And since the location has limited parking; you will have to use the Valet, but you are in good hands, Roman will take good car of your car and if raining you will get in without a drop.The cleanliness is Top Notch. I always look at the bar, the glassware, the staff, the plates, etc. The service is/was great, and the wait staff are all trained well. The bartender did all the key things to make your meal enjoyable, and did not leave you to wait and ask for things. Then the Food: I cannot rave enough about the constant perfection of the food. The Lamb is the best you can get, it is always excellent, seafood excellent,steak excellent the tomato soup is heavenly.The selection of food is great and so is the bar selection. Great Place for that Special Night. Sean Murphy thank you and your staff for always making our night great!
A bit pricey but consistently good food. Beautiful and romantic place right on beach. Fabulous view of sunset.
It is a wonderful restaurant. Usually. However, 2 out of about 6 times my husband & I have dined there something was terribly wrong – once my lobster was way undercooked, practically raw! Another time the sea bass served to my husband was rotten – it had a definite ammonia smell/taste. Although both of these meals were comped, my trust in the integrity of the establishment is lacking.
Just saw a sysco semi parked there…why im the world would a high priced place like this get their seafood from sysco?
Amazing Place!. Best place in the tampa bay area, save it for a special time, birthdays, anniversaries, seafood stew is amazing and the bar is friendly and inviting, this is a true gem in florida
I realize I’m in the minority, but we found BB really overrated and disappointing. Uninspiring preparations lacking freshness. Poor stemware for sparkling and dessert wines. Unsatisfying experience.
