LOVE this place!. Were here last week for vacation, ate here twice for lunch, it’s that good! The nachos are to die for, we had both the grilled chicken nachos and the Barbacoa (caribbean flavored shredded beef, so good!). Hubby had the Beach Bum Burrito with steak and loved it, huge burrito too! The queso dip for the nachos is freakin’ amazing, and I seriously wanted to lick the bowl. The british lady who took our order both times (I’m sure it’s the owner) is super friendly, helpful with the menu and choices, and very affordable for all the yummyness you get! Only sad thing is…we are 11 hrs away and craving Tortilla Bay! If we lived on or near AMI, this is where we’d be eating several times a week. Go try it!!
Just as a quick note — I am the one who uploaded the picture of the nachos above. I forgot to add that it usually comes w queso but I am dairy free so I got it without.27 Aug, 2013My favorite quick service place on the island. I am in love with their nachos. The meat is well seasoned and tender.
Great Food on Vacation. We stopped here during our vacation to Tampa. The food was very good and very fresh (We split nachos and I had the Tex Mex Wrap). Their menu is small, but they do everything well. Tortilla Bay is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Great food fast and afordible on the key. If you like those big chains like mows or chipotles you’ll love this local beach fare at a better price then the others.
