I bumped into this place with the logo Traditional Mexican Food, and since I was in Homestead, why not! Well, why Yes! The restaurant needs some upkeep, I ordered the Mole chicken breast and was disappointed by the mere look of it. Rice was alright and the beans, must be canned! Gave it a 1.5 being gracious for the waitress who was very pleasant. Not her fault the food is garbage! Never coming here again.

Disappointed. Had not been there in three years and thought we would give it a try again. The food was horrible. We had the enchiladas and the chicken and sauce tasted funny. We left almost all our food. Will never, ever go back

Don’t miss the refreshing and lovingly made agua frescas. I enjoyed the mango and my husband had the tamarindo. Our one and a half test old drank a whole second serving of the mango. Homemade tortillas are light and spongy–convinced us to eat more when we were already full. Even though I didn’t want to like the mini chimichanga (which was part if my husbands combo plate) I can’t deny that it was delicious. Pozole on Sunday was a treat with super bright flavors and very tender pork. We will be coming back for breakfast and horchata.

Authentic Mexican. Small, low key restaurant with authehtic mexican food for an excellent price. They have some of my favorite carne asada tacos.
