Absolutely love Joeys! Great pasta dishes, fantastic calzones and strombolis, amazing wings and delicious pizza! Some of the best food Pasco county has to offer.

Cardboard pizza. Worst pizza ever and it took an hour to deliver. No redeeming qualities of pizza – tasted like sauce on cardboard.

Bad pizza. Ordered a large cheese, pep, and sausage pizza from location in the publix plaza- worst pizza we’ve ever had. It was like eating cardboard – horrible. Ordered delivery and it took them over an hour to deliver. Seriously the worst pizza ever. Nothing redeeming about it.

Visited new Joey’s on US 19 and Marine Parkway. Really excellent food, and we’re from NY so we know good Italian. Only complaint on new restaurant is long, narrow room, with high ceilings and hard surfaces – sounds bounce and if you have the misfortune of sitting near someone loud and with a carrying voice, it’s very unpleasant. Loud NY style music competes with conversation – not a great place for a relaxing meal. I’ll stick to takeout, here, because the food is totally worth it. Just not crazy about the indoor ambiance. .

Bad Experience. I ordered a sausage calzone and my boyfriend ordered a stomboli. There were about 6 tables full in the restaurant at 8 pm on a Friday. We waited 45 minutes for our food after ordering. When I cut into the calzone, not only was it missing the sausage, but the cheese was cold, not even melted. When I asked to speak the the manager, who also is the cook., I was told he was the one sitting at the table behind us chit-chatting with friends. Perhaps he should care more about the food being served. The busgirl was sitting at another table chit-chatting with friends while the poor waitress bussed the tables. I didn’t want to wait any longer so I just didn’t eat. The owner/manager/cook never came by our table. I won’t be back.

NY Italian at its best!!. I moved here 4 years ago from NJ, and I have been suffering ever since from lack of authentic Italian food and pizza. I suffer no more because I found Joey’s last night!! I had a few people I know tell me how good the food was, but I was wary due to location, but I have learned that location is no indication of excellence or otherwise. The food was AMAZING!The hostess and servers were super friendly, and glad I went the day after a holiday because it wasn’t as crowded as I anticipated it to be, based on friends’ comments. We got right in, there were two tables left and we were given one. Food was served quickly. We started with ceasar salad. The lettuce was fresh, fresh, fresh, the dressing was tasty (though a bit too much for me) and they used actual shaved parmesan, and not the fake shake stuff. My only complaint was no croutons, because they would have sopped up some of the extra dressing. As an appetizer, we had eggplant rollatini. The eggplant was just perfect; thin and crisp. The ricotta cheese was creamy and delicious and the sauce was thick and yummy. Like most NY sauce, it was a little sweet, but that is the kind I grew up on so thumbs up!! For dinner, I ordered baked ziti and meatballs, my husband lasagna and my dining companions two gigantic pepperoni calzones. Everything was so yummy! The ONLY complaint from my husband was not enough meat in the lasagna, but it would have been fine for me, since amount is a matter of taste. I gave him one of my meatballs, which made him happy. The calzones were baked to perfection, and the crust was seasoned, which seems to be a rarity around these parts. The cheeses were out of this world. I loved my baked ziti, as it had the perfect combination of cheeses, with the mozzerella covering the top perfectly browned. They offered plenty of sauce for dipping. Even the meatballs were good, which is another thing a lot of places get wrong (don’t ask me how, but they do). All the tables around us were making yummy noises, and everything looked delicious. Also, the prices are excellent, and everyone left full, happy and with to go boxes. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular. The next visit?? Pizza!!
