Over 600 Pizza’s. I have had Pizza from Leo and Joes every Friday night since I moved to Hudson from Tarpon Springs. That is over 600 Pizza’s from the same place for close to 13 years. That should say enough about how I feel about their Pizza. It;s 99.9% the way I love it and I will be buying it every Friday night forever lol. Thanks to the makers. Cheryl and Skip
Great Pizza. The pizza in is always better than the pizza delivered (not that is bad) but it is so hot and cheesy when it comes out of the oven. It’s the best pizza in town. The waiter is slow, and checks on you only once or twice, the waitress is better. Regarding the deliveries I just want to say, they had screwed up only once or twice in 3 years I have been ordering it. My husband liked their linguini with white clam sauce, it goes with another name there, but he says it is better than most. I’ve had the greek salad (love it) it does have a lot of lettuce, but i like lettuce. My mom had the chicken parmigian and loved it. It is not the most savory dishes out there, but it is food and for the price is good. I love them.
Service. My husband and I love to eat at Leo & Joe’s. The food is superb, but the service that we have received last few times that we have been there has been the worse. ( we had the same server each time ) The server was very slow and extremely rude. He was more concerned with a party of 7 that was next to us. I understand that the bill for them would be larger and in turn so would his tip, but he should not let that over ride his ability to serve others with the same great service that he is willing to give a large party for a better tip
Being a Sicilian from New Jersey, I am very picky about my Italian food. Leo and Joe’s is the best I have found in Florida. The Pizza is awesome, the dinners are great, the meatballs rival my grandmother’s and the dinner bread is just great! I highly recommend Leo and Joe’s.
Not going back. My husband and kids ordered pizza. I ended up ordering a pasta dish. It was supposed to have pancetta on it, with a nice cream sauce. Unfortunately, I got bacon instead that tasted like it was boiled and had the worst texture I have ever experienced. Then, the onions that were in the dish were green and tough, and some pieces were still attached to the root ends. I was appalled. The only redeeming thing about this place was the dinner bread. It was really good. That being said, I feel ripped off. We spent more money than we wanted to, which would have been fine, had the food actually been good. My husband said the pizza was okay…but the crust was too soggy. I would NOT be returning here, and will NOT recommend it to anyone. Sorry, but I don’t appreciate being lied to. If you are going to make a menu and tell people you have pancetta…you better use pancetta. I should have complained while I was there, but my daughter needed a diaper change, and I was almost in tears over the whole dining experience. Our waiter came to our table maybe 2 times, and the staff just stood around the booth by the kitchen talking the whole time ignoring our table.
PIZZA AND OTHER MEALS. Since my husband and I moved to Hudson from another county we searched for restaurants in the area. This is one of the best place to order from, We enjoy the garlic knots and chicken wings, our daughter does not get enough, the pizza reminds of back home, (NY). The seafood is all so great, you have to try it, the one post that was not happy with the place, it was just one day. Maybe the cook or waiter just was not on top of things, but you could of let them know what was wrong they would of fixed your order. The are very nice people, I am about to order from them now.
