Pleasantly Surprised. My husband and I have eaten at this place three times now so I feel pretty safe in giving this place a BIG thumbs up! The food is excellent and the beer choices seem unlimited…I had a banana bread flavored beer yesterday! Anyway, you can get beer anywhere but the food here is fantastic! Everything thing we’ve tried seems to be fresh and made from scratch, from the jalapeno poppers to the onion rings to the burgers. If you like spicy wings – my hubby recommends the hot sauce but I’m partial to the house sauce. Oh yeah, and the hubs raves about their oysters but you won’t catch me eating any of those! Don’t let the exterior fool you – there is GOOOOD food inside!! The only bad part, it’s an open-air bar so it does get HOT inside, even with the gigantic fans blowing!
My favorite Restaurant. By far the best oysters I’ve had in the Tampa bay area. I always prefer raw oysters, but their flavored steamed oysters are awesome too. Try the Garlic flavored oysters or the Rockefeller.
