Clearly NOT a dedicated sushi restaurant.. If you want sushi do not come here. Sushi was so so and it took over an hour to get. However, it was not really surprising it took so long because one person was the host, waiter, chef, and worked the register (pretty sure he was the owner too). Save your time and money and go to a sushi restaurant that is a legitimate and professional establishment. Cant comment on the other food served here all we ordered was sushi.

Very nice!!!. Two friends and I were a little more north than usual and we had selected a Sushi place to try in Spring Hill, but we saw this place and decided to try it. And are we glad that we did!We were the only ones in the restaurant with a few people we noticed coming in for pick up orders and then leaving. Our food took a little bit, but you know what, that’s alright. I would rather have food made to order and delicious than what most restaurants do: make things in bulk and keep everything in the freezer and pull it out and microwave it.We believe that the gentleman who waited on us was the owner. He was very polite and kind. Answered any questions that we had and was delight to deal with.I was in the mood for Thai … my friends: Sushi. I shared some sushi as well.I ordered the Pad Se-Ew with Tofu. I thought that the tofu was a little over fried, but the rest of the dish was very nice. I asked for a medium/hot dish and I felt the spice was just right. The waiter gave me a selection of hot sauces to add more heat to my dish. That was a nice touch! The sushi which was ordered consisted of: The Dragon – Tempura shrimp, cucumber, with avocado with eel sauce. The Hawaiian – Tempura shrimp, mango, cream cheese, cucumber, cashews garnished with coconut sauce and coconut flakesThe Vegetarian Delight – Cucumber, carrots, onions, cream cheese & avocado with a slightly spicy mayo.I shared the Veggie Delight as I am a vegetarian. I felt it was DELIGHTFUL! Amazing! My two friends shared the Dragon and the Hawaiian and they raved about it and even tho they claimed to be full, continued to stuff their faces! We also shared some dessert sushi consisting of:Heaven Roll – The menu said it was a mixture of strawberry, avocado w/ fudge chocolate sauce & cashews on top however, they were out of strawberries, so we them put mango in it.Spring Roll – Strawberry, mango & cream cheese w/ avocado & coconut sauce on top. Again, no strawberries :(The fudge sauce appeared to be nothing more than hershey’s syrup but it gave a nice little hint of chocolate to it. The coconut sauce on the Spring Roll was smooth and slightly sweet. Just right. The prices are reasonable for quality sushi. We had about a $60 bill but we felt it was worth it and was very pleased.I’m leaving in two weeks from the area and will be sad to not get to go back. BUT I visit the Tampa Bay area once a year and I WILL BE BACK next year!!!

Thai Delight Addict. Tom B is right- the coconut chicken soup is wonderful. The Amazing Chicken is delicious as well- peanut sauce, fresh vegetables, a hint of lemongrass with the tender chicken. I have enjoyed the pad thai, the see ew, and even the fried rice is delicious. Thai Delight has become my go-to. It is tucked back from 19 so it is a little hard to spot but on the opposite side is the USA Fleamarket (which has a big sign). The atmosphere is pleasant and it is very clean. The staff is very accomodating as well.

Great Thai in Northern Port Richey. We would not necessarily have found Thai Delight if we hadn’t been looking for it. It’s set back off the highway, and is worth the search if you’re in the mood for good Thai food. The dining room is decorated in minimalist style with deep red walls decorated with black and white photos. Two walls are wall-to-wall windows and polished wood floors complete the picture. We were greeted and served by the owner of the establishment. We sampled an assortment of their dishes, and enjoyed every one. Starting with the Chicken Satay appetizer, we moved on to the Coconut Chicken Soup. This was a taste I have never had before, and thoroughly enjoyed. The Basil Hot Pepper Pork was delicately seasoned without being flamingly hot, and the Cashew Pork was excellently prepared.Thai Delight also offers lunch and dinner specials. It definitely deserves a try.
