Pleasantly Surprised. My wife and I have eaten here a half-dozen times. Did the hibachi once…….fun and typical if you like being entertained in this fashion. All the other times we ate at a booth and have tried various shushi, sashimi, etc. It has always been good+. I tried the squid salad as an appetizer on our last visit…….it was fabulous, and having been raised in an Italian family have had numerous variations of this. It was not what I had expected, seasoned and prepared totally different than what I’ve previously experienced. The portion size was large as an appetizer and adequate as an entree. And the taste was fabulous!
To fast….. My husband loves eating here but they are just to fast. We sit at the booths and one waitress gets our drink and appetizer order you don’t even put your menu down and there is another waitress taking your order.ok here comes soup and salad before the appetizer,as soon as you put the fork or spoon down dinner is here we are not even finished with the appetizer.we can’t even carry on a conversation because they are picking up your plates or lurking around the corner. Not to comfortable..we had 2 drinks soup salad an appetizer and dinner all eaten in a little over a half an hour.we will not be going back for a while….
2 strikes!. We dined at Fujiyama about 5 months ago and were not to thrilled with it. We decided to try it again now and it was worse than the last time, less food, same price, steak was so salty we could not eat it. Mentioned it to waitress she said thank you. Told man at front counter he asked what table and said ok. No apology or anything, they obviously don’t care about customers. I will drive a little further and go back to Makotos!
Good food but pricey. I’ve dinned here several times. Their food and service is good. However, the menu is pricey. We only go on Sundays when kids eat free!
