Just plain awful! Sandwiches were soggy, ravioli was cold and tasted like it was made with Prego. Cheesesteak with fried onions was a steak with nasty cheese and red onions. Grilled chicken didn’t taste like chicken. Salad tastes horrible….how can you mess up salad? They do.The pizza may be good….don’t know didn’t try it….but everything else sent us all running to the restroom. Joey A is already farting up a storm.Save the phone call and drive to Pizzoodles.
Great pizza and subs. I’m from Georgia and we came down to visit some family with Orchid Island Pizzeria being the closest pizza place. The pizza was cooked perfectly with a crispy crust. I tried the Italian sub on garlic bread which was out of this world with lots of meat and cheese. I didnt mind the take out only. Great place for great food, highly recommended.
I agree with YYZ. The food here is pretty great. I’ve tried the cheese and veggie pizza and the tuna sub and they were all fantastic. However, I too have noticed that the owner has a bit of a potty mouth at times. He doesn’t curse at or towards the customers of course but when talking to his employees, he definitely doesn’t censor his mouth. I don’t get offended but it’s kinda awkward/uncomfortable just standing there waiting for your pizza while listening to that. Having said that, I like how the crust is nice and crispy and it has a nice and balanced amount of cheese. Also, once I walked in there 2 min before closing time (I didn’t know) and they didn’t have any pizza or anything so I could only get a cold sub…and the owner looked a little pissed (that was also uncomfortable).
Great food……not for the kids. This is a take out only joint. We ordered from them twice during our stay. The pizza and subs are fantastic. Hand tossed NY style pizza. Great crust, fresh ingredients. While a great take-out joint with really good food, I’d be mindful of taking the kids or your mom in with you when you go to pick up. The kitchen staff and folks that run the place are angry people for some reason and cuss like sailors regardless of who is there. I was willing to think the first experience someone was just having a bad day, however second time around it happened again. Next time I’m ordering my pizza without the F-bombs.
