Headed downhill fast. Used to be the best neighborhood place on the beach; now, avoid at all cost. WOn’t go back again, and I’ve been a regular for over 10 years. New owners don’t seem to know how to . build clientele- only enemies. Head to Mahuffers or Sandy’s or ANYplace else- this place is dead to IRB now.
So four of us decided to try the new ownership despite some negative reviews posted by other customers. The ambiance has been greatly improved and it is much cleaner. The staff is great and management oversees it all to insure great customer service. The food was excellent and very very reasonable. Overall a great experience and one I would recommend highly.

All new seating in and outside. Salad was served in nice bowl which set a nice presentation for me. Friends had a great fish dinner ,first timers.they raved about it .food was excellent I would recommend this place.

Wing were great. I was sitting right by the register and my total was less than what the bill stated. The owner or manager stated to bartender who just started when we walked in door that they rounded up. My total was 22.42 my bill was given 22.50. Yes only a little however if they take pennies from everyone they make out in the end. Will not go back just for that
So many better places on the beach. I’ve been going to the Red Lion for over a decade. In the last year it has completely lost its appeal. I’ve been sick more than once after eating anything that was fried there and the the staff (with the exception of one or two) seem like they hate being there and they’d rather you not be there either. After my last few experiences, I sincerely doubt I’ll ever go back.
Kind of a dump. When we first moved here we stopped by for fish and chips; it was greasy and soggy. Gross. We sat outside because the inside smelled like puke. Never again
