Love the fact that it was waterfront first of all! We ordered the conch fritters for the app. For the main entree we got the pub burger, the blackened red snapper with garlic mashed potatoes, side of grilled mahi mahi, and some scallops. The burger was a burger. The conch fritters were good by themselves not with the Thai chili sauce. They were a little too oily for my taste and they had very little conch in them. The red snapper was tasteful but if you don’t like skin on your fish don’t get it. The skin is on this one and it wasn’t crispy enough for me but that’s just me. The grilled mahi mahi was the best thing we had there for sure! I give that a five on it’s own. The scallops were a little overcooked for how I prefer them. The service was good and pretty fast too. The views were gorgeous. The price wasn’t too good for what I ate. If I’m gonna be paying that kind of money I definitely would prefer some fire food!

Our server was cheerful and enthusiastic. Everything we ordered was served in a timely manner. My Rum Runner was well balanced. The food was cooked as expected. My flavorful sirloin was a perfect medium and well seared. The nicely seasoned grilled shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed fresh and excellently prepared fried oysters, baked shrimp and scallops plus several other well prepared dishes. The local style crab cake, though fresh and well prepared, was the weakest item on the menu. Being from Maryland, it was different than I am used to. For the area, the crab cake was excellent. Our server was constantly checking on us, refilling our water and confirming any requests we made. We found the serving sizes to be reasonable and pricing better than many of the competitors a few miles north in the congested hotel/tourist section.
