Great… Been here twice this vacation . Food and service are both great. A must to eat! We had smoked fish, chowder, a couple sandwiches and the fried whole hog fish.. All was great. I’m in the restaurant business, it’s hard to find good food and service in the keys.

We came there by boat. Beautiful view! I had a tuna salad sandwich for lunch. Yummy! The sandwich was huge! It came with pineapple coleslaw as one of the side choices! !I had great experience having lunch there.
I came here for breakfast and had the mahi mahi and eggs. It was excellent. Food was good, our server was nice, but REALLY slow. So if you come, don’t be in a hurry.
The island grill was mediocre compared to some of the other keys restaurants we have dined at. The hostess was was very friendly but our server had the attitude it was just a job. The meals we ordered tasted fine but not for the price charged. We personally will not be back
We visited here twice during mini lobster season and brought our own lobster tails for them to grill. (see photo) they were very well prepared. Atmosphere is casual and nice. Busy, but we didn’t have to wait for a table either night. Salads are fresh and I especially liked the strawberry pecan salad.
We (two couples) ate here on a slow Sunday night. The hostess seated us where we requested and returned about 10mins later after we had not yet been served. After she checked her list, she informed the bartender to take our table. Although perfectly fine, he wasn’t super pleasant. Our appetizers were good, and the meals ranged from adequate to good. The bartender/server took quite a while to return to us (and only did so after the hostess had to check on us again and go tell him to come back to our table) to bring our check and we ended up staying longer than we would have liked. Similar observations were made of at least two other tables of customers. Also, the single-stall women’s restroom door did not lock very well causing an accidental walk-in on a customer using the restroom. All in all, the place is neat with a nice view of water. However, the only person who appeared to care at all about service was the hostess.
