Stopped on my way through town. Food was ok. Decent. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but it did the job. Service was ok, but a little slow.
Food was decent and side portions were very good sizes. Service longs to be desired, waiter only visited the table when he wanted us to order, saw him two more times during the meal and wasn’t impressed by his service and the length of time for him to return after meals was delivered by other servers.
Lunch was Awesome. Stacy Was Our Server, She Was Fantastic and Prob the Best Server I Have Had in Some Time!! the Mahi Mahi Was Fresh and Fabulous Great Lunch Macaroni Was Killer and So Was the Chicken Avacado Club;) I Would Defiantly Go Back03 Aug, 2014Lunch and Server Stacy made this lady a Happy Momma;). Very disappointed. After seeing the good review on the tv we decided to give it a try. Although the location was great the service and food was a huge disappointment. The staff made it feel they were there because they had to be there and the food was served cold. When we stated the fries were cold they went in the back grabbed some more and microwaved them. No doubt about it. The 5 cheese macaroni was cold as was my fish. Won’t be going back there at all.
Nice outdoor location.. On a warm night even in mid winter this was a lovely location to eat outdoors. We lucked out with very good music and a nice friendy, attentive wait person. The Hemingway cocktails and the Key Lime Pie were both excellent!
This was our favorite place to go during our week stay in key largo. Friendly staff, very fresh fish, great people watching and just the right amount of beach vibe with the upscale atmosphere. Sit at the bar and eat if you are a couple and you will not have to wait.
Marker 88-Drive on by. We had dinner tonight at Marker 88 and were very disappointed. Inattentive and slow service. Drinks were only average. Salad was very good, but NOT included with the entree. Fish was mushy and fries were limp and soggy (and cold). Overrated and way overpriced. Premium prices for entrees with one side. If you want a vegetable for a second side, you pay separate for that as you do for a side salad. I would choose another place if you are looking for fine or gourmet dining because Marker 88 was neither.
