Lousy. Salsa was chopped up tomatoes and onions…. No sauce, can’t dip it with chips and very bland. Bland also describes the rest of the food too.
Excellent food, great service, good prices. Margaritas are strong and big and salsa was fresh. Simply delicioso!
What a surprise…. We came in one warm evening and sat beneath the window a/c unit. Unfortunately, the a/c wasn’t on – it was rather warm inside. As we perused the menu we noticed a fare amount of crumbs and dust on the windowsill. Our table and chairs were not as clean as they should have been. We discussed leaving, but the chips were good and we were hungry.We ordered and were very surprised at what came out of the kitchen. The presentation of both our meals looked like that of a 5 star restaurant. The Mariscada del Mar was like nothing I had ever tasted. Octopus, and vegetables in some kind of red sauce that was incredible. I don’t recall what my wife had, but she was pleasantly surprised.Hopefully they will clean things up a bit and utilize the a/c when it gets toastyinside.We will be back.
The restaurant was very clean, the service was prompt and polite, and the food was delicious. I recommend this establishment to anyone who wants a tasty meal for a reasonable price – especially in a relatively touristy area where overpriced food is prevelant.
The best Mexican and seafood restaurant in Miami Dade and Monroe counties. I have tried just about everything in the menu and it is excellent. We met the owner and most of his family works with him. The staff is warm and friendly, they male you feel right at home. Don’t forget to try their margaritas!!!!
Great Mexican Seafood. This restaurant holds up to any of the unique Keys restaurantswhen it comes to flavor. It’s not on the water. However, unique flavors in their Mexican seafood & other dishes. Seafood very fresh. Nice size portions.We go every time now when in Key Largo. Highly recommended. – Kim
Great food and very friendly staff. Prices are as good as the food. Don’t be in a hurry just sit back and relax. Stop at this little roadside restaurant you wont regret it .
