  Great family place. I ordered a large with pepperoni and loved the bread and sauce. The owners are very nice people and the inside has a great home neighborhood feel to it. Fresh out of the oven I sat down to a great meal. Unlike other pizza places with outrageous prices like ‘moon river’ where clearly paying more for a lousy juvenile atmosphere. Give this place a try I promise you won’t regret it!

  Pizza is fundamentally bad; italian sub was pretty good. I ordered an italian sub to go and while I waited I noticed that their pizza was sicilian style which is my favorite type of pizza so I ordered a slice to try while I wait.Much to my surprise, the pizza crust with sauce is apparently pre-baked on a large rectangular tray. Upon ordering my slice with pepperoni, the chef/owner removed a pre-baked slice from the tray, loaded it up with cheese and pepperoni, and tossed it in the oven. This is just fundamentally and almost even morally wrong. The pie is supposed to bake together so that all the main parts (crust, sauce, cheese, topping) bake together. When you sprinkle some cheese on a pre-baked shell of crust and sauce, the cheese gets melted but not baked and the crust gets too crispy and overdone. The cheese doesn’t get a chance to bake into the pie and subsequently came off the slice upon first bite. It wasn’t just a mediocre pizza it was simply bad. I don’t know who came up with that dumb idea but it needs to stop. Good frozen pizza is far better than this.The italian sub was okay. Meats and cheeses were baked on the bread and then fresh vegetables were added and it was wrapped up. Taste was good. One thing they either forgot or have a policy against is slicing their sub. I HATE getting a sub, or any sandwich really, that the cook neglects to at least slice in half. It’s just bad service.The decor was uncomfortably drab and dated. They advertise menus items with literally dozens of inkjet printed brightly colored sheets of paper taped up all over the walls. Very tacky. They decorate the front window the same way and they think they’re doing a good job but you can’t even read their phone number because of the fancy typeface they chose to put in the front window. The place looked 100 years old and not in a cool historical way–just run-down and old.I hate giving bad reviews to new local businesses but this one is just so poorly executed they don’t deserve to succeed unless they come to their senses and do something good. They need to get it right and unfortunately they seem to think they already do. They were nice people, though. Somebody needs to tell them the honest truth. I hope they read these reviews.

  Visited this joint on Saturday around lunch. This is a mostly a pizza and sub place with a dozen or so permutations of the sub. Only deep-fried offerings are fries and onion rings. No interesting toppings.pizza comes in fairly small squares 3×3 inches with a sprinkle of PROVOLONE cheese for 1.50 per slice. It’s not thin crust and lacks crisp. Sauce was runny and bland. Crust was bland. Bland pizza – lacking both flavor and texture. Average frozen pizza tastes better.Fries were bland. No matter how much I sprinkled with salt and garlic powder – still bland.
