Korean BBQ Short Rib Melt was a perfect sandwich. This is a food truck that takes its food seriously! I can’t wait until Chew Chew comes back to my office again. The BBQ short rib melt sandwich was perfect. The flavor and texture of the short rib with this chef’s unique sauce and the crispy bits on top in between two slices of fresh, perfectly grilled bread was very satisfying. And for $1 more they toss in a generous portion of freshly fried, crispy potato chips.The next time I see this truck I don’t know how I’ll pass on this sandwich to try the other things on their menu knowing that I can’t eat their food every day and that everything else on the menu is probably just as delicious. It will be a dilemma that I will just have to deal with.
My family and I ate at the Chew Chew truck yesterday and the food was fantastic. The blackened fish tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had, with the seasoning just right. My son had the meatloaf sandwich and, after trying it, I wanted to dream up a punishment so I could steal it from him. The thick cut bacon alone would have made it great, but the meatloaf and even the bread were perfect. Can’t wait to track them down again.
