DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!. The food is ok compared to the other places around town, but the customer service is terrible and the delivery time sucks! I have NEVER in my life had someone yell at me over the phone for simply taking off 2 egg rolls from an 30 something dollar order! How rude could you possibly be?! If you order online it’s hit and miss if your food shows up the way you placed it, so if you have allergies to certain foods or don’t like certain things YOU’RE S.O.L! These people really need to get it together! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

Used to be very good. I first had New China Spring about 3 years ago and it quickly became my favorite Chinese takeout place. It was very cheap, the food was in large portions and was very tasty and had plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Now, they have changed a lot. The food comes in the standard Chinese plastic tub when it used to come in very big Styrofoam to go boxes, the egg rolls are maybe half the size as they used to be and now are bland and flavorless. The past few times I have had them as well the rice was very dry and undercooked and really bland. The tofu dishes are now really bland and tasteless now as well. Mayport Gardens changed ownership and isn’t very good anymore, this place has changed and not for the better, and so has the Hunan Wok on both Monument and Fort Caroline. Are there any good Chinese takeout places left in Jacksonville?
Best beef lo mein. And their dumplings are also good, the wrapper is nice and thin.
