Cafe and Grocery. This month, our food group visited Gastronome. While a little difficult to find, they recently moved to a new strip, the atmosphere was a pleasant surprise.The food was flavorful and had a decent number of options. I ordered the lamb gyro and dumplings (these could use a little spunk). Large portions, reasonable prices.The group enjoyed browsing the grocery store and trying the desserts, assortment of bottles drinks, etc. People were in and out making purchases. The entire experience was enjoyable, many of us will return.
Nice Place, Nice Sandwich. I went to Gastronome’s a while back and it was good. Alittle different for the area but nice anyway. It was a clean place with a couple of deli cases full of sausages and salamis. Now I tried the gyros and the young lady could barely understand me I think. She did however leave and come back with my order. Now the meat was very tastie and had a nice spice to it. I also liked the bread and the tzatziki sauce was made in house and very fresh also. I did also get some of the sausages an salami both were dry aged and well done. Now I will go to Gastronome again for a meal and salami in the near furture.
