The quality of the subs has improved now that this place has been for a few months. I still haven’t received a super fresh bun which I expect from the chain based on eating dozens of subs in Yankee land. I will also continue to pass on this place if time is a concern.
Two thumbs up!. I don’t see how anyone can not appreciate the fact that they cut/cook all the meat right in front of you! Does Subway, Jimmy Johns or Which Which do that? NO! It’s worth the extra few minutes of waiting. Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic. I drive all the way from the airport area to get their subs. I can no longer tolerate low quality packaged meat (if you can call it that) from Subway or the awful tasting subs from Jimmy Johns. They also have a rewards card (and double points days). Can’t recall their competitors offering that either!
Excellent value. I had a Club Supreme and it was delicious. Fresh-sliced-in-front-of-you meats and cheeses. Lots of different Italian meats, more variety of those than I’ve seen in other local sub shops around here. They sell rubens, but have no rye bread, as is standard in Jacksonville 🙁 Everything I saw looked clean. Service was very pleasant and polite, if not appearing a smidge disorganized, but not anywhere near disorganized enough to keep from making me a really delicious and slightly heavy sub at a decent price within a reasonable amount of time. It’s a few dollars more than a your most basic quickie sub place, but in the ‘getting what you pay for’ category, it works out as a win. I’ll definitely be back.
First time customer; not impressed. Read where this subshop franchise was new to town so tried it out today. Wanted to place order online but can only use a CC for payment. Why not cash? Got there right at 11:00am. Ordered Big Kahuna CS and chips to go. Literally took me 22 minutes to get out the door. Can’t figure out how you can have 6 employees behind counter and still have service that slow? Doesn’t seem to be much organization between ordering & making subs. After tryng sub, can say I’ve had better. Was worth the try……….
This Jersey Mikes just opened and I love the place, friendly people, fresh slice meat sliced right in front of you. Their CheeseSteaks are the best I’ve ever had, and I love their Club Supreme Mikes Way with onions, lettuce, tomato,red wine vinaigrette, olive oil and a blend of spices. Great Hot and Cold subs.
