A longtime favorite hideaway for tea!. My Momma & I simply ADORE this place. When I was pregnant with my son, I craved their tomato soup & coconut cake & some of my last fondest memories with my grandmother were here at tea. A girlfriend of mine also had a beautiful baby shower here that was absolutely perfect– is there anything they can’t master?
Absolutely charming. Friendly staff and delightful ambiance. Perfect for a day out with mom, sis, and daughter. Will return!
The tea room is a unique beautifully decorated place by the beach. The Afternoon Tea gives you four types of sandwiches so it was nice to get variety, followed by a platter of three small desserts. The atmosphere and food make it worth the price.
Enjoyed both visits, plan to go back. My mother and I went last Thanksgiving weekend on Black Friday. We were headed to another tea room but found out it had closed down. We stumbled onto this one while shopping in the area. It’s very cute and each table has a different tea setting. We decided to order the sandwich and salad combo which is more reasonably priced that the afternoon tea sampler. On my second visit just a few weeks ago I opted for the chicken salad sandwich and tomato basil soup. I was not disappointed. The teas are very good as well with a nice assortment to choose from. I plan on going back soon. My only warning is about ordering the afternoon sampler: seeing it on others tables it looks like very little for a lot of money…

Grossly overpriced. We went to Ashes Tea Room because it is the only tea room in Jax Beach, and apparently they know that. The tea room itself is more boutique than tea room with seating for 20 ladies at most. The two rooms where they set up tables for tea are very small and cramped. We ordered the tea tray for two which was $17.95 a person. The tea tray included a pot of tea, an assortment of sandwiches, and a dessert plate. For the amount of money we paid, I expected much more food. The food was really good, but $10 per person would have been a sufficient price. $80 for 4 ladies to have a pot of tea and a plate of sandwiches is ludicrous.
