Horrible service, 25 minutes to get a drink service 2x during the meal, sent back second round as we were finished our meal and ready to go. Food overcooked and cold when served. Wrong appetizers served and prep requests for dinner were not followed. Hope it was a one night miss for this place.

I’ve been a fan of this place ever since they first opened. The other day I had a crucial pad thai craving and asked my friend to join me for dinner. Craving satisfied! Tip: It’s happy hour all at day at the bar and that means drink and app specials.
Did not like. I frequent Thai restaurants and this is my least favorite. Non-authentic. It’s going for trendier fusion food. I was turned off by the advertisements in the menu!! Would ever return.
Tried Buddha take out for the first time. Ordered a pad Thai and a duck curry, nothing else. It cost almost $50 and was barely enough to feed two of us. The food was tasty but had very little duck in the curry. The steamed rice that came with the curry was about half what I expected. The noodles were no more than half the serve we’d get across the road. Not good enough. Overall, tasty food but half size serves and very expensive.
Shockingly Horrible Service. It is Saturday evening, it’s 8:45. We are Beaches locals and end up at buddha’ belly to have Thai. Have frequented this resturant and all though we have had issues with the service before we love Thai food and they generally do a pretty good job. Tonight however, although the resturant was half empty they said it would be 15 minutes until they could serve us. Mind you we had already been waiting for ten minutes before the hostess told us that. She said it was happy hour all night and we could wait there. The bar was full but but ther were at least 8 open tables in the front section of the resturant which is a lot for a small place. We were not in a hurry but we asked if we could just sit at a table and order a glass of wine while waiting. There is a very small entrance area and no where to comfortably wait. The hostess denied us and said they didn’t have enough wait staff. Kind of sad to have a half empty restaurant on a Saturday evening and not be able to serve us. We went to Sala Phad Thai on 3rd instead. Their Green Curry, Drunken noodles and Tom Kha was wonderful! Much better than Budda AND th service was excellent. Also, Kamia at 13th south and 3rd has Thai cuisine as well and is very good but a little pricier. We will not be back to the Budda. —Disgruntled
Drunk man noodles with beef were delicious. Service was great too.
