Love this place, eat here 2-3x a week. It’s a traditional mexican restaurant. If you want a quiet dining experience, don’t come here. If you are looking for quality mex, this is your place.Favorites: carne en salsa, camarones diablos, pollo tapatio- ask them to sub the habanero sauce for the cheese.Ps I like spicy food!
Not that bad, but not that good. It took a long time to put in an order and get our food but we didn’t mind we where not in a hurry. The food was only okay, it tased like they threw food together so basically it had no heart and that’s a real shame because the place is beautiful.
Service excellent, nice place, margarita top shelf no good, orchata was good, food=they worry about the quantity not quality, overall, i wont come back, sorry
Never again. Horrible atmosphere. Arguing men in alley way of Casa Maria’s property for the past 30 minutes and no one has asked them to leave the premises. I don’t care how good the food is, I won’t be back. It speaks of an out of touch management that is not looking out for their patrons. 30 minutes – take notice!!

It was awful tonight. The food only came after we complained then it want what we ordered and it tasted terrible. A couple bored and we asked the cashier for the bill. Heard three other tables complain on our way out. Hopefully it was just a bad night.
As close to real Tex Mex my Oklahoman husband and I have been able to find here in Jax! We have been pleased every time we have dined at Casa Maria. Food always taste great, salsa is delish, and their cheese dip is yummy! We have always had friendly wait staff. Some better and quicker than others, but all in all we’ve always had pretty great servers. The dude that brings out the food and chips/salsa loves kids, he always interacts and plays with our little guy, he’s a cool dude. The only thing that would make this place better is if they stepped it up to real Tex Mex and with the free chips and salsa they included cheese, tortillas, and sopapias at the end! Then we’d be talkin! ;P
