Casa Marina has one of the better brunches in Jacksonville. It is a bit pricey, but offers an abundance of seafood, grits, omelettes, waffles, and the other usual breakfast offerings. The dessert table is filled with an assortment of delicious chocolate and cheesecakes.

Bad Service and Rude Manager. Yesterday was Mothers Day. I had a wonderful time with my friend at TPC and we thought it would be nice to have dinner at Casa Marina. To our surprise it was not busy at all and we were able to get a table overlooking the beach. Great view! we were ecstatic. Our server took our order and our food came out quickly. I was not happy with my meal and waited for the server to come back so I could order something else. She NEVER came back….I had to ask for a manager and when I complained about the meal he asked me why didn’t I say something to the server. I explained to him that I never had the chance because she did not come back…not even once! He promptly told me that no one has ever complained and I was welcome to dine anywhere else at the beach. Needless to say; I will never go there again. Horrible horrible horrible. What a shame..I guess that is why they were not busy.

Mom’s 80 th birthday. Been awhile since i have been to brunch. What a disappointment! Most if the food was cold and tasteless. Thank God ashley, the server was awesome.. This has always been our go to place for specual family events… Not any more. It was aweful for the price.

Townie Heaven!. A place for Townies for sure! No self respecting local would ever or drink here. A lot of money for a little tourist food, with Townie style dishes, Tappas, warm draft beer, over priced, oh gee wiz, look out from the bar…I can se the Atlantic Ocean, amazing. Not for locals, however, Im told that the place is booked 2 years out with weddings. that means after the wedding, the brides maids it the beach all hot and bothered!

This place has a great view but the Sunday brunch is really not worth the $26 per person. The food was very average….the omlete…turned out more like scrambled eggs and the guy doing the omlete station was not happy to be there. I don’t blame him….was hot and he didn’t have much room for movement. I love this place for cocktails in the evening. It’s a perfect date night spot. I don’t think I’d go there to eat.

Stay away. Far Far Away. Do not stay at this old hotel that has mold all over the bathrooms. The front desk does not greet anyone. No customer service. This hotel needs Gordon Ramsey if they will survive. Nice wedding but a true dump!!!!!!!
