It’s just okay for me! Although it’s my husband’s favorite. He loves everything about this place. The decor, staff and German type foods. I have enjoyed the beer cheese soup and cookies. I haven’t found a sandwich I like. He loves them all! Especially the German sausages and sour kraut.
My favorite place. It took me a while to find what I really loved on the menu but European Street is an addiction of mine now. Being a vegetarian, I enjoy the Tomato Mozzarella Ciabatta probably three times a week. I am obsessed. You also MUST try a cookie when you are there and make sure you ask for your cookie warmed up. It’s the most heavenly thing you will ever put in your mouth. LOVE LOVE LOVE Euro!
Nicely Done!. Great selection of sandwiches which are all very tasty! The best part is the beer and foreign sweets.Absolute an amazing variety of beer and very tasty!I am glad there is a cafe with some variety. Also they are just one block from Sunrise Surf Shop.
Sat for an hour without seeing our appetizers, had to remind waitress to bring each drink, got my order wrong when it finally came. Horrible service. Avoid.
Eh… I’ve been to all of the European st cafe’s in town and tried probably 4 handfulls of sandwiches.. Honestly the only thing that makes them taste OK is the hot sauce.. I’ve never once tasted any kind of marinade, special seasonings.. nothin.. My mother makes WAYYY better sandwiches with simple foods leftover from the fridge! Bottom line, yes it may be less crowded, but… is that a good thing?I’ve BLACKBALLED this place b/c it’s TOO simple. Step up the taste train ppl!
Great Food!. The food is amazing and the beer selection is fantastic. My favorite thing is the tabbouleh salad on the vegetarian menu. And the cookies are to die for! however, i agree with the other reviews that the service is often lacking. I work in the service industry so it’s really hard to sit and watch tables get looked over. I’ve seen people leave because of it. But this isn’t always the case, so please go in and enjoy the food! Just let someone know if you don’t get service right away.
Heavy!. For sandwiches I feel it is usually a bit heavy. Not bad or anything but I have a hard time finding light options here. Probably not diet friendly but if you are looking to indulge this will work. The prices for their happy hour are quite good and their beers on draft deals are very generous. We enjoy the patio quite a lot and their potato chips I believe are home made. I really enjoy E-street for a beer and then I typically eat half of my meal or I feel like a glutenous pig.
