This is one of the best locations in Jax Beach with outdoor seating right across from the Pier on the boardwalk. Because of the location I recommend this place. We had shrimp ceviche and a sunrise burrito which were both filling. As one of the other reviewers stated, the food is average. The service was fine, and the bar was crowded even on Sunday afternoon. The restaurant has not been around too many years, but needs some maintenance-purse hook broken off in the ladies restroom, and fixtures coming out of the wall in the men’s room. The potential is there.
Eh. Ugh. I wish this place was so much better. We have tried it 3 times now. The location is SO amazing but the club scene is just not good for us. The service is not very good. The smokers on the patio ruin the atmosphere.The food is okay. Again- great location but below average food and service. Just Eh. I really want for it to be so so so much more.
We visited @ 3:30 PM on a Saturday. The downstairs was hopping, but he second floor was only half full. That’s why I was surprised when it took 3 or so minutes to be greeted. No big deal there, just kinda weird. Server was super nice and polite. Made some very helpful suggestions. The guacamole is SUPER fresh! Pretty fricking delicious. The food came out really quick too, and while it comes out on a silver pan, it looks amazing! The gringo skirt steak taco is amazing! I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to order that every time I come back. Between the view, the food, and the fair prices, a robot could have been serving me and I would have loved it. Our helpful, polite, server made it almost perfect. Can’t wait to come back!Edit: Our server was Alex R (so says the receipt). He was awesome!
LOVE this place! Located right on JAX beach, the views from the second floor are amazing! This is the ideal place to meet with friends for drinks and get some relief from the hot sun. The food is great, especially the spinach enchiladas and vegetables. As for drinks, the Pier pressure is absolutely delicious!
Menu full of fresh items and great view. Had to visit twice as I loved the Ceviche Tacos! Loved the outdoor seating. Both times our food came quickly, service friendly, and meal delicious!
Some good & some bad. Iced tea (sweet & unsweet) was smooth and good taste, guacamole was fresh and creamy, chips & salsa were just right – the chips had just enough salt and salsa was fresh tasting. However all else did not come up to par, all had no spice, no heat and no salt/seasoning — beef enchilada was flat, chicken taco also flat, refried beans & rice also no taste.
