What a shame. I stopped into the restaurant to buy lunch and asked if anyone spoke English. No one did. A young woman who spoke Spanish and English helped me order. She commented that it was a shame that in Kendall no one spoke English in this restaurant. I agree. I will never stop there again.
Entertaining. They have great service and food.And excelent msica fridays and saturdays 7 pm to 12 pm ( karaoke) saturdays.)
Once you get over the chaos of ordering (during rush times), the staff is very friendly. The empanadas and quiche are delicious and they have an entire case of baked goods that we didn’t get a chance to sample but looked amazing.
The food is divine and the service excellent!. When you visit Ankarr more than twice they start treating you like family. This is more a fancy cuban cafeteria than an european pastry shop, though. The Cafe con Leche is exquisite and the scrambbled eggs with spaniard chorizo, mmmmm… Complete your breakfast with a fresh orange juice, no sugar added. Now if you are looking for dessert this is the place! Don t live with out checking out the divinely prepared chocolate or strawberry mousse…
No way this is an European bakery… It’s a mess, disorderly and they can’t even make a proper espresso or cappuccino. Unless you want cafe con leche or sugared coffee you’re out of luck
Complete chaos. They take your order at counter and then you wait for it to be brought out. Both times we been there they have misplaced order and we had to go back to complaint. Will not be coming back. Not worth the wait.
