Not good at all!. Every thing overcooked, service extremely slow, 15 min for martini, had to ask for bread.
Loved It!. Italian food is one of our passions. So it was an even better day in paradise when we happened by this charming little trattoria and decided to stop in for dinner.Succinctly put, the folks at Abbondanza know how to do casual fine dining better than almost anyone else in Key West. The interior is a delight on the eyes, with several small dining rooms dressed up to resemble dining in an historic old house. The melodies of Italian crooners play softly in the background, adding to the experience.The menu is huge, with dozens of interesting pasta, meat and seafood options. Our meals were attractively priced, attractively plated, and delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, as were the accompaniments to our meal. My husband said his cannelloni was the best he has eaten in many years. Portions were large, but not overwhelmingly so.Service was not a distraction, although our water glasses took longer to refill than we wished, and at times our waiter seemed on auto pilot. It was but a minor annoyance in an otherwise perfect meal.Prices are modest by Key West standards.Let me sum up by saying that if I ever decided to own a restaurant, it would look and taste like Abbondanza!Food: A-Atmosphere: AService: B+Menu Sophistication: AValue: A-

Good family Italian food. Good large portions of Italian family food. The portions are very generous and very good. This restaurant is off the beatin tourist trap area and a distance from Mallory Square, however, it’s worth the walk. There were four adults for diner and we had the mussels for an appetizer, and three main dishes which were the tortellini mushrooms, chicken piccata, and seafood pasts. With the fresh bread, we finished our meals very very full. Service was very friendly and hospitable. Be nice to the staff and they will be nice to you. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
Husband and i had a fantastic meal here…roasted garlic with their great bread for an appetizer, chicken marsala and stuffed grouper. Excellent meal.
Wow. Booths that have been turned into comfy like couches with fluffy pillows,romantic atmosphere, candles. Food is amazing/ portions are enoughto share. great wine and excellent service.
