Went for happy hour and the food was only so-so. Would have been sad if we had paid full price. The conch bisque was overlooked and mushy. The peel and eat shrimp looked, and tasted, old. There are better choices in the area.

Excellent Service. Alonzo’s was recommended for their happy hour, half price drinks and food. We sat at that bar. The place was packed and busy. We were waited on immediately. The food was served just as fast. I burnt my leg on the exhaust of my motorcycle so the bartender fixed me a bag with ice. We liked the place so much, we went back to the next day. There was no place at the bar so we sat outside and got the same great service. Alonzo’s is definitely on our list to visit again when in the Keys.

I tried the conch fritters the first one was good, the next four were so so. We also got a side of onion rings they turned out to be shoestring onion rings – the kind you would typically top a burger with. Overall, I didn’t care for the food however, the service was really good.
