Pleasant ambience, delicious food, I had the black grouper which was perfectly cooked my wife had the pork tenderloin which had an amazing spice sauce, we had the rosemary honey pecan tart with cardamon ice cream which was amazing combination of flavors we drank our own wine Laffitte with a small corckage fee of 15$ we dined on a tuesday night and entrees were half off….great place to dine!!
Exellent choice for breakfast, Azure Benedict was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was also nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Duval street. Highly recommend!
We just had lunch here, and liked it a lot! I only wish we were in the area for dinner time to be able to try some of the items in the dinner menu. I had the rib eye sandwich which was great, the caramelized onions being an excellent touch. The truffled fries were very good too.Desert though, was the perfect finish for a great meal. We ordered the lavender infused creme brle. I must say it is the best I’ve had in the USA. It is my favorite desert (the original French version though) and I have been disappointed many times by the heavy American version of what is supposed to be a soft light custard. The Azur’s creme brle is the closest I have come to the real thing in the USA, so I am really happy I took the chance!
