The wait staff needs an attitude adjustment. Food is good.

ANOTHER GOOD DINNER IN KEY WEST. This restaurant is 2 blocks in from Duvall St. and is away from all the crowds. My wife started with the arugula and prosciutto salad which she enjoyed and I had the duck slider which was excellent. I could have made a dinner out of these. My wife had the rack of lamb and I had the snapper which were both good. My only criticism is that the tables were extremely close together.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. I was lulled into this restaurant by its lovely appearance and interesting menu using Key West ingredients. Unfortunately looks is where this would-be great meal started and finished. The waitress was disgruntled, which was made worse by sporadic bursts of faked friendliness. The menu may have made claim to local ingredients, but they weren’t fresh, nor prepared well. Every aspect of the food was lacking in flavor and texture. I wanted to like this restaurant, but after such a disappointing meal, I’m sure I will never return.

Nice…. The place is small, I’d say slightly cramped & expensive, but if you’re a foodie type you will appreciate the freshness of the food made to order & the changing menu

Upscale. Yes, this place is expensive, so prepare yourselves! From the wine to the dessert, pricey. The 3 different breads were served with a hummus made of chick peas, lentils, sun dried tomatoes and was OK. I ordered the black grouper with a side of pasta pockets filled with a garlic/cheese mixture. I could have only had these pockets and been happy – so good. My husband had the escolar (tuna like fish) prepared sushi style – very nice. The vege plate was ok. Service was attentive, and very informative.

Top-notch KW dining. I’ve been coming to this place for as long as I can remember, and it has generally set the bar very high for other fine restaurants in the area. I can’t remember ever leaving unsatisfied. Last night I started with the conch and crab cake. The addition of the conch to an otherwise classic item gave it a welcomed KW twist; and, for such a classic, this was one of the very best I’ve had anywhere. My girlfriend had the seafood pot stickers, served with kem chee and seaweed salad, showcasing the pan-Asian / fusion influence on the menu. As good as my conch and crab cake was, the pot stickers were truly killer. As an entree I had the sesame encrusted yellowfin tuna, served with jasmine rice and Asian vegetables. I’ve had some variation of this dish at I don’t know how many restaurants, so from a creativity standpoint this choice was nothing out of the ordinary. What did set it apart was its flawless execution. My tuna steak was cooked perfectly to my liking (rare throughout with only the outside seared), and the rice and vegetables were very quality. It was exactly what I wanted.
