No one makes better ice cream! As ice cream is our family’s fave dessert, we relished the texture and flavor of a vast exotic array. True, two counter servers’ seemed less keen on public service, but the quality of product surpasses any disinterest in clientele. We tried several ice cream shops nearby, but this one far surpassed the others.
Ice Cream – we scream. LOVE this place! Every time we go to Key West we make at least one pit stop and sit outside to enjoy the ICE CREAM and people watch. However, last time they were lacking in tropical flavors. Hopefully I just had bad luck. Will be back soon and look forward to my favorite – sugarapple ice cream.

Uniquely Flavored, Delicious Ice Cream!. During my stay in Key West I had Flamingo Crossing, Mattheessen’s, and My Yogurt Cafe ice cream. Flamingo Crossing had the delicious ice cream and was by far the best ice cream of the three! The chocolate at Flamingo was so delicious. Flamingo Crossing also had very unique flavors such as kahlua and pumpkin, which were both so tasty! I would absolutely come here again. I do recommend Mattheessen’s cookies, which are pricey but the best cookies ever!!
Fantastic tropical flavors. My wife, sister & kids stopped here after taking our pictures at the Southernmost point in the cont. U.S. down the street. The ice cream shop was cool, the employees friendly and the Guanabana/Sour sop ice cream was incredibly delicious. Definitely the best ice cream in Key West.
