The staff is all-inclusive, elitist and judgemental. After taking a look at my (perfectly valid) ID and telling me it looked suspicious, I joked that I was a cop trying to take the place down. So they immediately told me to leave. I can understand the paranoia, so I came back to apologize to them, and they told me to f*** off. Then I asked to speak to the manager, and without even giving my ID a look, he told me to go f*** myself. This is not how you treat people who are giving you money, and if you do so, one star reviews are all you’re going to get.
Fantastic open air bar… No food… Just great drinks and great music… An unbelievable jukebox (There’s even a Velvet Underground CD on the jukebox.)… Consistently the best live music in the city… A totally different vibe than the Duval Street… Really laid back in the afternoon… Hot, sweaty and loud at night… You owe it to yourself to check out the GP.
Great open air street bar in Key West! Service is great! Food can be brought in from around the corner. I would highly recommend the BBQ place next door! We loved the music and great vibe! A definite must visit for Key West!

We come to Sound Check as often as possible. Love it! If you’re visiting Key West, you must come here. BTW, only free popcorn for food.
