Sweethearts at the Parrot Bar!!. Just got back!!! I had fun; as a matter of fact it was the only bar I went back to three times…the other one was Sloppy Joes twice. With that being said; the bartenders are sweethearts and friendly ~ right on the drinks; making sure everyone is happy even when theyre extremely busy and when it slows down a bit theyll joke around with you because theyre having fun too! Its a laid back, party atmosphere, no bs here…. Just go in and have fun…..I’ll give this place a 10!

It’s been a shrimper’s bar, a fisherman’s bar, an Army bar during the Cuban Crisis … always a low class blue collar bar. If the Sunday breakfast service at Blue Heaven seems kinda slow, it’s cause that wait-person was drankin’ and dancin’ at the Parrot on Saturday night. I know this for a fact from when Big Sandy played a while back. Hell, I think I saw Bum Far to slapping out rhythm on the bar thatnight.BTW: In ref to one of the above comments. Act like a jerk and you’ll be treated likes jerk.
