Not good. Ordered BLT and hash browns. Bread was completely charred. Hash browns were ok. Sweet was not sweet at all. DLW was happy with breakfast. Service was non existent. Even though drinks were not good, there was no checking on us at all through the meal. Never had great service at any IHOP so this was no real surprise.
My husband stopped in here for a quick breakfast while we were on our honeymoon in key west. For being an ihop the food was fairly good. The service was good, and our waitress was very sweet. I was not expecting much, but it was a good quick breakfast stop.
This is the worst establishment I have EVER been to. I’ve been to restaurants all over the world and this one took the prize for worst. I know it’s a chain and what not, but there was no pride taken in one of the most beloved breakfast joints in this country. Waitresses were absent and the manager had the worst attitude. It was complete and utter chaos.
Yay! Key West Pride 2015! OK, I promised myself to not dine in any chain restaurants while on vacation, but IHOP was an emergency coffee and comfort food stop. I mean, you know what to expect with an IHOP in the wee hours of the morn. This location was pretty much as expected. Coffee, coffee, and more coffee. The wait staff was good enough to bring plenty of carafs instead of the paltry half-empty one you normally get. The tiny demitasse cups are a pain, but this is standard with IHOP these days. This location is out on Roosevelt, so is not in Old Town, but everywhere on the island is only a couple of minutes drive.
Oh my goodness…what a chaotic place. Wait staff was less than polite to customers and HORRIBLE to each other. My breakfast was interrupted by two waitresses arguing about stealing each others tables. One waitress walked around with her cell phone to her ear while others yelled at kitchen staff about missing food. Whew! Should have stayed in bed.
A guilty junk food pleasure. Once every couple of months I’ll sneak in for a massive breakfast. Not the highest quality, but once in a while you just have to satisfy the craving.
