-08/27/17 This was the best food we had in Key West. Not your typical Mexican fare, the stuff is obviously made with Love & Care. We each started with salsa and guacamole with chips. Partner had tortilla soup. For a main courses I had veggie tamales and he had steak fajita. We shared flan for dessert. The food was exceptional and we plan on returning. By Key West standards, the price was reasonable.-08/28/17 Second visit. Had a Margarita with a splash of orange, was great. Partner ate Carne Asada – he enjoyed it. Though the Chili Rellenos on the menu was with beef, they made it with chicken for me, along with Verdes Sauce – it was excellent. They comped us on desert (Tres Leche), but I was so full, so we took it to go and it was eaten by a friend who appeared to enjoy it.-09/01/17 Third visit, you think we like the place – YES! I had a traditional margarita and partner had a frozen strawberry margarita. He had the Carne Asada again – was great. I had a grilled chicken burrito with chili sauce – good balance of meat to veggies, seasoning & spiciness were perfect. They again comped us on desert. Had their Key Lime Pie. They top it with a meringue, which nicely offsets the tartness of the lime. The pie was prepared in a baked crust, which provided a little saltiness, leaving a suggestion of a Margarita. Was very good. Even though it was his day off, the manager happen to be walking by and noticed us in the restaurant. Recognizing us from the prior visits, he came in and we chatted. What a nice guy. Then the chief was introduced to us – we felt quite honored. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
