I’m a huge Thai cuisine fan so this place wasn’t horrible but it certainly wasn’t anything to write home about either. The curry panang was soupy with a decent taste for the sauce but had two big half sized potatoes in there that were undercooked also. I guess $15 isn’t enough for them to take the time to cut it up. The curry wasn’t thick or chunky with vegetables to eat it by itself so you’d have to mix rice in or add some of another dish like I did. They also use soft tofu instead of the fried, in my experience the fried tofu goes much better in curries. The massamum dish looked good but the taste was pretty bland. At a lot of good Thai places this dish has a smoky type flavor. Overall I’d rate this place averagish to below average. At $15 a dish this place isn’t on that level. The view from the top is good of the marina and there were Thai and Chinese people making sushi which doesn’t exactly make that authentic either. At the end of the day though, average Thai is still better and better for you than great American.
