My daughter has celiac. They were very understanding and prepared the pad thai noodles. We got to eat the mango ice cream for dessert which they said was gluten free. Loved the ambiance!
Great food!!! You can tell it is freshly made. Service is friendly, Not too expensive, and nice view. Overall great restaurant!
First place we ate in Key West. I normally don’t like eating outside, but the boat experienced prove to be pleasant. All the food was good and the spice level was adjusted for our individual tastes.
Loved the floating restaurant. Had delicious entrees, Massaman curry and sweet and sour pork. The appetizer fish cakes which is the chefs special were terrible. No taste except fried. Wish I had ordered the dumplings. We sat at one end of the boat where the light cover was missing and we looked at bare bulbs after the sunset. I would rate it a 7 out of 10
Don’t understand the negative reviews. The food was incredible! Server was awesome. It’s a floating restaurant, great views!! Highly recommend more so because the food was as good of Thai as I’ve ever had.
Dump and management doesnt care. Yuck!!! i eat out 5 days a week. do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else!the owner michael wont take criticism and lies about reviews by leaving inflammatory comments trying to discredit the negative reviews or real patrons!!!!this place has sub par inedible food, slow service from people who don’t care about customer service and a manager/owner cant take the criticism so hes forced to to try to make stuff up so his floating garbage dump of a restaurant looks better to tourists… THE LOCALS DONT EAT HERE TWICE!!!! Seriously…i really wanted this place to be good as we have so few choices here in key west…will not be back!
Thai food really tastes like this. For all the reviews that say the food does not taste authentic, you haven’t had real Thai food. I lived in Thailand and have Thai relatives and Thai life makes Thai food the way Thai people do. Those who don’t think it is authentic have likely been eating in resorts or in Western countries where it may have been modified for Westerners. The distinguishing feature of Thai food is the way it is cooked, the use of very fresh ingredients readily available, chillies and sometimes coconut, not whether they use local vegetables that may not often be found in Thailand. Thai food is simple and spicy. If you didn’t like it fine, but don’t say it isn’t authentic.16 Dec, 2012Fresh and authentic. Lots of choices of authentic (and modified for American tastes) fresh Thai cuisine. The restaurant is quaint clean, and on the water. They also do take out. Prices are reasonable. One of the best restaurants in Key West because they cater to locals, not tourists who I guess will eat anything because most Key West restaurants are below average. Highly recommend and worth battling through the construction zone.
