Conch fritters are the best I’ve ever had! This place is rated #4 out of 150 in key west, and I now know why! Its right in the middle of key west and kind of hidden. So very yummy! Must try!
I’m no Conch expert, but my friend is a bit of a fan of the Conch fritter and suggested we grab some on our walk down Duval street. Little fried balls with a hint of spice and some really good dipping sauces – theyreminded me a little bit of hushpuppies.Since it’s my first time it’s hard to say howgod theywere, but my friend thought they were actually quite good. My husband and I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat in between jet skiing and parasailing. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a really good burger. The food was very fresh. The pictures don’t do it justice!! We sat for a bit and spoke with the lady who was running it. She was very nice and gave us good info on the island. It’s a great place to pop in and sit a bit! Plus the chickens running around were fun
Very good fried take out food. The conch fritters with the mustard sauce were excellent, hot and fresh. It’s great eating for deep-fat fried choices. Prices are fair but the place only has 8 seats outdoors. Nice for a quick bite.
Yay! Key West Pride 2015! For about the best value on Key West, I feel The Conch Shack deserves your patronage. Prices are extremely reasonable. Well, I mean reasonable for Key West.I jumped in with the Danger Dog, which is a huge hot dog wrapped in bacon, and then fried. It was excellent, but not for the feint of heart. Get the island fries to accompany it. The beers here are cheap, so feel free to indulge.I sampled a Main lobster roll, and it was quite good. One of my friends ordered the veggie burger, which he said was decent.
Ordered a cheese burger and conch fritters! The cheese burger was really good…on the small side…perfect for late night eating! The conch fritters were freakin’ amazing! They had two sauces…a spicy zesty mayo and a lime mayo type sauce! Both were excellent…didn’t know which one I liked best! Super good!
