Amzimg. SOOOOO GOODDDD … the food was amzing and great service .. waited about 20 minutes but didnt mind at all because everythin is made to order . . I have no idea why people want there food rushed … DEFINITELY TWO THUMBS UP
Wow.. That’s all I have to say.. I was referred to this restaurant by a friend who lives in the area but I read some of the reviews and somewhere good somewhere not.. But I decided to give this place a try and the first thing I noticed is looks just like back home in Puerto Rico.. It’s a beautiful building.. So we were seated buy tDrhis really nice young man.. First thing I noticed the prices are very cheap.. I have no idea why people would say this place is pricey..it’s literally like 8 dollars a plate.. Lolwe did wait about 20 minutes for our meal but everything is done fresh so I wouldn’t expect anything less.. Again I was laughing at the people that would get mad at that.. But I totally recommend this place and I guess that’s why they been around for 24 years
Cuban sandwich and alcapurria de jueyes. I was expecting way more flavor in the sandwich. . Too much mayo for my liking as well. .. Wouldn’t buy the Cuban again… the alcapurria was actually pretty good and was generously stuffed with crab meat.. Would definitely get that again! The wait was too long though.
Worse Puertorican Food Ever. YOU NEED TO READ THIS. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! This has to be the worse Puertorican restaurant we have ever been and we as Puertoricans have visited a lot of them. The wait and service is horrible but the worse part is that the food is even worse. First we order for appetisers 2 alcapurrias that we never got(probably a blessing that we didn’t get it). Me and my wife order a mofongo with churrasco and the mofongo was really small and with not flavor at all. they definitely don’t know about garlic or seasoning. The chicken broth was only water with a little bit of adobo(really nasty). They offer you salad with the food and they came with a sample of one piece if lettuce and a slice of tomatoes. I never post reviews about food but as Puertorican I was embarrassed that the tourist would think that this is puertorican food. But the sad part is that I guess not a lot of people complaint about it and the owners probably think they are doing a good job. Definitely the cook has no idea about cooking and it’s definitely not puertorican .
The food takes way to long to come out and the service is not the greatest either. The food is good and fresh but the wait and service overshadows the effort.
Terrible Service. I have overlooked the bad service in the past but today was the last straw! Let me say, the food is very good! The service is absolutely atrocious! A family owned restaurant and the one son cannot handle it! He doesn’t write anything down, is not very personable and has no customer service skills. My wife and I waited as other customers who arrived after us were served while we were still waiting just to get our drinks! It pains me to say that I will not be returning to this establishment and I truly think that we’re it not for the food, this place would’ve gone under a long time ago because the service leaves a lot to be desired so if you have the patience then by all means try it but be warned!
