Lucky find. Long story short, we discovered Ray’s after getting caught in torrential rain while walking to the bus station. Luckiest find of our holiday. I had an excellent grilled chicken salad, while my wife had a superb roast beef sandwich. Atmosphere in this little local place was great and staff couldn’t do enough to help, even giving us a pile of paper towels to dry ourselves off and phoning a taxi to get us back to our hotel. To be honest, Ray’s doesn’t look much from the outside but inside it is utterly spotless and the food is fantastic. I’ll definitely be eating here on my next Florida holiday. This was one of the tastiest – and cheapest – meals we had during a 10-day vacation.
