From the moment we walked in it was a disaster. It was like we were invisible. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes with staff walking around until I finally asked if we could sit outside. The food was horrible, both my husband and I had fish tacos (3) to the order. Between the 6 tacos there was enough fish for 1 possibly 2 tacos. The tortillas were straight out of the package, not heated, NOTHING! Rice was mealy and beans were disgusting. Our waiter seemed like we were asking him to jump off a bridge when we asked for hit sauce and napkins. Twice and then we finally got them. Would never go back or recommend this place!

Very good!!! They even have a milder salsa they will bring you if you are like me and don’t care for spice. Everything I have had there is really good, but my favorite are the quesadillas. It’s big enough to split. Cheese dip is also very good!

Food wasn’t bad but the service was awful. We were seated immediatly. The server took our drink orders and when he came back he wanted to know if we were ready to order or did we need a few more minutes. We wanted a few more minutes. Mistake number 1. About 20 mins later I went inside (forgot to mention we are outside & yes there is staff running around out here). Someone came out to take our order right away. Once we finished eating we had to flag someone down to ask for boxes and our check. Maybe service inside is better.

We go here off and on and just went last week.. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants around IMO. I had the avocado salad for the first time and it was the best! My husband had the taco sald and it was very good! I have had that one too before and loved it. The tortilla soup is very good too. Ambience is nice. Service is great! We have had various dishes from burritos to the salads and have not been disappointed. They have good drink/beer specials too. There is an outdoor eating area also. Give it a try!02 Aug, 2010Really loved this place!. It had everything a restaurant should be! Very nice interior/atmosphere, good service and excellent food! The area it is in is absolutely beautiful –The Villages, Spanish Springs Village and you feel like you are in Disney World-it is kept up so nice and the architecture is gorgeous. You can park, go eat and shop just within blocks of this place. How did the 55+ Seniors get so lucky?! The area can be tricky to negotiate around in with all the circles and dead ends, but it is worth the agravation to eat here and shop here!

Chile relleno. Quite possibly the most disappointing and unauthentic mexican dish I’ve ever tasted. If you like Taco Bell, you’ll probably enjoy Ay! Jalisco. If you’re looking for something better – save your money.

Well, the food was pretty decent, however the service was lousy. Coming from the west, where Mexican food is really good, this was one of the better places we have eaten. Now if only the service was better.
