Burkes bbq. Reminds me of the school cafeteria but with worse food. Had the petrified 1/2 chicken special with beans sweet potato casserole and cardboard bread. Oops! Corn bread. No table service, you get into the prison chowline, just like you see on tv. Yes they slop the gruel onto a plastic plate too! The sweet potato casserole was good, the beans were watery. The chicken was pretty well dried out, and their bbq sauce was watery and tasted funny. Friends had the ribs, poor old tough hog its a shame.
Was a little concerned about going here based on some of the reviews, but the ribs I had were amazing. Best part is the food was super fast. Barbeque sauce could be thicker. Overall, I had a great time watching the game on TV while enjoying the ribs.
Quick and easy.. The best thing about this place is you get your meal right away. It’s very good BBQ and the sides are excellent. The people are very helpful and cheerful and really make you fell welcome.
