Home Made Italian!. Old and well established restaurant, a local favorite for decades. Our party of 8 was seated quickly and had friendly, efficient service. Limited menu variety. Fresh bread. Clean. Comfortable noise level. Easy parking. Clean rest rooms. Locals say the Delmonico steak and the Baked Spaghetti – Pasta a la Bruzzi are the most popular. The spumoni is hand made right here.
Four of us went there last night. Was one of many times there by my lady friend and I. First time there for her visiting sister and husband. As usual, food was good and plentiful. Only draw back was they had removed the eggplant appetizer. Last time there we had it and it was scrumptious. Bring it back.
Absolutely the BEST chicken parm I have ever had! Went for the first time on my daughter’s birthday and we were not disappointed! We will definitely be back.
Best Homemade Fresh Bread!!. I bought their fresh baked italian bread at their booth at the Top of The World, Ocala Farmers Market and it was THE BEST EVER! I will be going back to buy more. Simply great!
Barbara and Joe. We totally disagree with the negative reviews that have been written. The food and service were excellent. We were a party of four and all were pleased with everything. Two of us had dinners and two had pizzas and salads. everything was delicious. The pricing was also very reasonable. We look forward to our next visit.
Best place to eat. In response to the horrid reviews on Mom and Dads Italian restaurant, I would like to say that it is one of the best places I have ever eaten. The food is all homemade and the bread is baked on site. I have eaten at some wonderful restaurants from around the world, but always enjoy coming back to this family owned and operated establishment.
Mom and Dad Left…. And left the operation to the kids…We occasionally visited Mom n Dad’s when our self-preservation is running low. Cheap Italian in a can…is what you get here. I bank next door several times a week and EVERY time I go through my drive thru I see the Mom n Dad employees behind the restaurant – smoking…If they spent 1/2 the time they spend cooking that they spend smoking, they’d have a success!Bland-unimaginative cafeteria food and bagged salads with supplier everything – nuttin home made…yuck
