Home Style Food!. Great place for good home cooking. The family that owns it will be the ones taking your orders, bringing your food. Famous for their fresh chicken strips and broccoli casserole. Their buffalo bites are perfection.
Yummy!!. I so miss having lunch here. My colleagues and I ate here at least once a week when I was living in Lake City. I make it a point to NEVER miss a lunch here when I’m in town. The sweet potatoes are truly to die for (if you can possibly hold more food after finishing an order of her fabulous mac & cheese).

Oh, come on…. I can’t believe that Chasteen’s rating is low. What a nice place for lunch! Even though you go through a line to order, there is an elegance about it all. I enjoy taking people to Chasteen’s and they are always thrilled with their food. I really enjoy their fish and love it when they offer fried mushrooms as a side item.
