Lake City Ken’s is just Good Basic BBQ. Good smoke in their pulled pork and dry rubbed ribs that were cooked just right highlight an enjoyable dinner at this Lake City location. Add vinegar slaw to the pork and you have a great combination. I have eaten at their Live Oak, FL, location previously and believe this site may have a better pitmaster. Both sites were fun and Ken’s does not serve desserts. It’s worth the sacrifice. This site will definitely be added to my BBQ road trip map.
Would not eat here since they do not like motor homes, rvs or fifth wheels no matter what they might say otherwise
Awesome!. I always order the working mans combo and it is always good. I would suggest that you ask to get it in a box though if not it will be squished down in a wrapper… But other than that anything from here will hit the spot. The price isnt bad either…
This place isn’t horrible, but not good either. The BBQ rests somewhere in a grey area between bad and good. The meat is okay, but the sides are bland and lifeless. The servers were pleasant and the restaurant seemed clean. If they could kick the meat up a notch and improve the sides, this could be a decent joint.
Ken’s Barb-B-Que is my absolute favorite bar-b-que restaurant. I have never had a bad meal from Ken’s. Service is great. Food is served very quickly.
