This is a must go if your in lake city. Service was good and food portions were more than enough for me. I travel a little with my job so I’m lucky to be able to find the mom and pop restaurants as opposed to the big chains. Shirley’s does not disappoint. Very friendly staff, I could tell that this place had a lot of regulars and after eating here it’s no surprise.

UberBassMan. I have traveled alot! And this place is the best I’ve had in the state of Florida, home style breakfast and lunches. If you come to Lake City FL. don’t pass this place up. You won’t be disappointed.
Smells good but they are not open for dinner according to sign.
It’s a bit off the main drag but this is serviceable home cooking. We enjoyed our lunches, a large cheeseburger and a country fried steak. Expect generous portions of real food and real people.
This place has fantastic service and delicious foods! It’s pretty quick service, too. We made it here for Sunday morning breakfast and it was tasty.
