Great Food–BAD service. The pizza is hands down some of the best in Orlando. Their Classic Italian food is superb, but they have no idea how to give good service.
Whatever happened to good customer service?. Went to this restaurant last night. The service was beyond AWFUL!!! So bad, I thought I was on Candid Camera. The waitress was very rude from the beginning. She came to take the order with the most terrible attitude. As the time passed, she became ruder and ruder! Three of us at the table, she only addressed one person (the male at the table) and she did that with the worst attitude. She came back once to refill the drinks, she only refilled it for him. I asked the waitress to refill the drink for my daughter and she snatched the cup of the table, walked over to refill it and came back even worse… My daughter was concerned about drinking the refill after experiencing her behavior. At one point when she was asked to leave the to go box on the table and to bring cups to place the sauce in, she threw those down on the table and walked away. I finally had enough of this behavior so I spoke to the owner about it, which in turn said that we were the problem and not his staff. We have been their customer for a few years and never had a problem but the owner continued by saying no one wants to take care of us. I still can’t believe this happened! I highly encourage you to not patronize this place unless you want to experience the WORST service EVER!!!
Not thrilled. Went with a group of friends who had been there before and loved it. I’ve only heard good things. But last night our service was HORRIBLE (our waitress acted like she’d rather be anywhere in the world besides helping us have a nice meal out). Personally I thought it was WAY too pricey for the atmosphere and quality of food. Then we got an automatic 18% added to our tip because there were six of us. Some of my friends didn’t even realize that and left a tip on the table as well so they left feeling totally ripped off. I got the linquini with clam sauce and it had way way too much garlic in it (not just the taste but it had huge whole cloves of garlic that if you took a bite it burned your whole mouth). The place was so dark that I thought the garlic cloves were mushrooms and put an entire piece in my mouth. It ruined the entire meal. We couldn’t get our drinks refilled or more bread. Some side dishes were forgotten and asked for and still not brought to us. I left saying I’d never go back but some of my friends said to give it another shot because it is good. If I go back I may try the pizza. I’m not paying almost $20 for a plate of pasta and garlic again. I can make that at home.
Pizza, mussels, penne a la vodka. OUTSTANDING Pizza. The Meals themselves are as good or better than any other restaurant within 20 miles (possibly further).
The food was amazing. Me and my wife went here and she had the shrimp scampi I had the fetticini Alfredo both were amazing I would recomend here again we will be back to try the pizza soon enough beats olive garden and carrabas any day!
I Like the Pizza. Calabria has dine and and carry-out service. The dining room is sort of small and dimly lit, but you can usually get a seat. I love pizza and there is not better place to get pizza from in the Clermont area. It is a NY style pizza, nice large slices and everything is very fresh and homemade. I have also tried a few pastas and entrees. They are all very good as well. When friends and family come to visit, I always take them to Calabria for dinner and have heard no complaints.
