Bad service. We have a Meetup group that bring allot of business over the passed years. They charged use for each slice for cake for a party, we provided the cake. We will not use JB Bonndocker’s for any Meetups again and we are notifying our 1200 members not to boycott JB Bonndocker’s.
No Service. We were traveling through on Friday 2/13/15 and saw the billboard advertising this establishment. Was really looking forward to it. Arrived about 2:20 pm. We were immediately seated and after 20 minutes with no service at all we left. We were really disappointed
July 1, 2014. We really enjoyed our meal! Outdoor deck with lovely lake view. We found the staff very welcoming and attentive. Try the banana cake with coconut cream cheese frosting!!
Delicious Seafood. My husband and I have lived in the area for over 14 years and just learned of this restaurant. We decided to give it a try for lunch. Being from New Orleans, I know my seafood. If you are looking for fine dining, this is not the place for you. It is what it is supposed to be – – a local waterfront restaurant (on Little Lake Harris) with boat docks and indoor and outdoor seating. I was pleasantly surprised in the quality of the seafood. We started out with the Seafood Crab Artichoke dip with chips. Simply delicious – made with real crab and rich cream cheese – served with tortilla chips. We then tried the crab bisque – again, real crab, rich and creamy – served with a fresh corn muffin. Then, the main course – a seafood platter. The crust on the seafood was excellent! Fish, softshell crab and shrimp all cooked to perfection, and sooo much food that we had to take some home. The corn nuggets that are served with the meal were the best we have had yet. Our server was attentive and very pleasant, too. We have absolutely NO complaints. In fact, we are headed back this Friday with friends for their Friday fish fry!
Wings are best item on menu. Usual biker bar atmospher. Nice view over lake. Music stops to early if going to hear band.
Jb boondocks. Great place..Good food/service..come by boat or bike,,Meatball hoagies/burgers/prime rib sandwich are terrific..Prime rib dinner on Wednesday is really,really good..
Fish Fry Fridays. Went for the $9.99 Fish Fry with three other friends. The portion of fish was generous, and the fish was perfect with moist inside and crispy outside. I ordered a salad, which was way too much food. My wife ordered a burger.. the meat was flavorful. I read the other reviews– my comment is that I have never seen staff hustle as hard anywhere at this apparently family operated place. It is Winter so Florida is high season. We did no have reservations as should everyone during high season BUT had no problem getting a seat. Next time I will sit outside to get the fresh air and views of a Florida lake
