Filet was cooked to perfection!
Unanticipated fine dining. Don’t drive by this place because of the nondescript building, you will be sorry. Great steaks and some more exotic offerings as well as more typical fare. I believe that a lot of the fish, game and vegetables are locally sourced. The prices are fair too.
Lucky to have this restaurant in Groveland!. My husband and I are regulars at The Redwing. You cannot go wrong with the black and blue filet, it is comparable to steaks we’ve ordered at 5-star establishments. Their breakfast on weekends is our favorite around. If you call ahead, they can even make a crab cake for your Benedict! We love their lunch menu the same. Buffalo chicken sandwich and turkey wrap are our go-to’s. You must give this place a try! I have been a patron here since my grandparents were Wed night regulars back in the 80’s when Cracker was owning,running, and serving! Can’t believe this quality exists in our back yard, but we’re so glad it does!
Wow amazing place. Had the hunters platter was fantastic. cooked to perfection……companion had the black and blue with truffled blue cheese butter…best then ruth chris…service was good and friendly. restroom were clean. we were pleasantly surprised. worth the trip from orlando.
LOVE THIS PLACE! The place is far out there but it’s all worth it. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My food is always cooked perfectly and I’ve always been treated with great kind-ness. I suggest making a reservation if you plan on going for dinner because they do get busy and people with reservations are garunteed a table.
Not what you’d expect. The Redwing is great, it has something for everyone and the chefs special game dishes are amazing. You must try it!
On a whim happened to stumble into this place that I’ve passed a 1000 times on SR33. There’s a farm right next to the place, and we stopped and saw the fatest pig I’ve ever seen. We then walk in an fell in love with the country vibe going on. However the best part was the food! For $10 I had the best country fried I’ve had in my life. I think we’ve found a new go to restaurant in south Lake County!
