Fun place to visit during Halloween. I have eaten breakfast here a number of times. The food has always been good. The menu has a decent variety and service is usually quick and pleasant. It is obvious that the owner has a passion for Halloween. During the season this place is all decked out with tons of fun decor. It must take them a considerable amount of time to put it all out. It is definitely worth a visit.
Horrible service got to restaurant at 10:30 and by 11:37 still no food and nobody came to our table to ask if we needed refill on our drinks the waitress completely ignored us when she went to other tables…. I would not recommend service sucks big time.
Expensive. I ate at Appleton’s today and a simple breakfast with tip cost me $16. 2 eggs, homefries,corned beef hash with a glass of milk and toast. They charged me 65 cents to add onions to my home fries and I barely noticed their presence. To say the meal was pedestrian is, in my opinion, a compliment. I will not go back!!
Super place super food love the fact that it’s a family business .. My wife and I passed by after sunday church for breakfast check out the portions 🙂
Came in 30 min before posted closing time, chairs were already on the tables. Staff was busy cleaning and counting money to pay proper attention to us. Felt very rushed. Food was okay but overall feel was we will not go back.
Lake Mary Staple.. I have been eating at this restaurant since I was a child. Then called Christo’s, but it tastes like the same food to me! I would take this little restaurant over Cracker Barrel any day of the week. I do feel it is slightly over priced, but I think the food and service definitely make up for that.
The decorations are amazing for holidays! They really go overboard with the christmas and halloween decorations. The breakfast is always busy on the weekends and the food is better than decent. Great neighborhood restaurant.
